I hope I was missed. LOL.
I've stayed away from the blog for about a week now because I was preparing for my end-of-year research review. Let me explain. I am a PhD candidate in Microbiology and Immunology and every 6 months, I meet with my committee of advisors and we discuss SCIENCE ! This is called a research review in my world and mine was today.
Is this exciting ? Not from where I stand because I always feel as if I am being grilled like summer pork on an open fire. For the first two years of my program I always had stress-induced diarrhea on the morning of my research review (sorry for the graphic description). Not a particularly exciting situation I reckon. Oh, I can talk for hours. My husband even thinks I am a talkative depending on the day you ask him but ask me to talk about my research with people who have been in the field for 20+ years and I do everything short of completely shutting down as a human being ! I even dreamt last night that I forgot the cookies my husband made for me to take to my professors ! ARGH, more stress ! LOL.
So anyway, after all this freaking out , I performed excellently on my research review (which by the way, always appears to be the case and so I sometimes wonder why I react so violently even to the words "research review").
So what's the point of all this ? There really is no point. I actually do not want to make a point right now because my logical reasoning skills have been exhausted for the day. I just wanted to share how much I missed blogging and how I am glad to be back !

Oluwaseun (I have friend by the same name by the way), I am glad I could entertain. This is all my brain power could allow for today.

You were definitely missed. I hope your professors liked the cookies. You are such a great storyteller. This is too funny!
