Hello Friend!
It's really , really nice to meet you. Maybe you've been coming to this website and you've enjoyed reading posts on here. I am excited about that. I really am ! However, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Savior, all you read will not help you in the least bit.
Let me share some truths with you.
The Awful News
- You and I sinned (Romans 3:23. Hey, grab a Bible and open along with me). Have you lied before ? Have you stolen before ? Have you looked at the opposite sex lustfully before ? If you answered yes to any ONE of these questions, I want you to acknowledge that you are a sinner ; we all are by virtue of being born into the earth.
- Our sins have separated us from God and the just punishment for not choosing Jesus is eternal death in hell (Romans 6:23).
The Wonderful News
- God in His awesome grace has provided a way of escape for you and I because it is not at all His will that anyone will go to hell. Let's get that straight : God does not send ANYONE to hell. The decision to follow God or not is entirely up to you.
- The only way our sins could ever be paid for was for a sacrifice to be made. That sacrifice had to be a blood sacrifice and so God sent His Son Jesus Christ to come to this earth as a man who would offer up His body as a sacrifice. (John 3:16, John 14:6)
The Bible says :
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. -Romans 10:10
