ONE DAY AT A TIME

During my quiet time this morning, this is what I read : 

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 

It is so easy to get caught up with the "whens", the "whats", the "whys" and the "hows". Many of us look into the future and it gets really overwhelming at times. There are days when I have just wanted to stay in bed just so I would not have to face the day's problems. This morning, as I took the short walk from the bus stop to my work building, I sensed the Holy Spirit reminding me of what I had read earlier and I believe He was telling me , "My grace is sufficient for each day. Trust Me to take care of you. It's good to look at the big picture but remember my grace is sufficient for EACH DAY." 

I began to smile. "Of course Papa ! You will take care of me. I don't know why I worry so much. From today, I will remember that your grace is sufficient for each day and I live my life ONE DAY AT A TIME." I walked into work feeling refreshed and with the firm knowledge that Papa God has me and He is in perfect control.
